# iconomoteur

> Iconomoteur presents and represents the visual work of Jean-Claude Mattrat: printed matter, books, portfolios.

The site has two parts: an activity journal (the articles) and the catalogue of
works. The catalogue gathers more than seven hundred pieces dated from 1977 to
today, each with its images, its description and its number. It is browsed by
year and by category: book (livre), drawing notebook (cahier de dessin), studio
notebook (cahier d'atelier), portfolio (porte-folio), postcard (carte postale),
set (ensemble), leporello, furniture (meuble), poster (affiche).

The site is in French. Some pages carry an English translation within the text.

Part of the catalogue is for sale: books, postcards, portfolios, sets and a few
pieces of furniture. The price and the availability of each work are on its
page and in catalogue.md. Depending on the period, a work is bought online
from its page or on request from the workshop; catalogue.md says which, and
the workshop answers either way.
